Alidad
“I love layered rooms - not just the obvious layers of colour and pattern,
but as if each layer represents a piece of history or time.”

It is not just textiles that Alidad likes to mix, but objects of different periods and mediums. Here the inlaid marble top of the table adds a further dimension, as does a collection of neo-classical sculpture. A raspberry-coloured chenille cushion from the 19th century sits happily against the 17th-century tapestry.
